Ayesha was born in Pakistan and spent most of her childhood life in U.A.E. before moving to Canada. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto. Ayesha has been curious about reading and writing from a very young age. Through her writing, she wishes to create pieces that integrate English literary styles with Islamicate poetry, as a way to connect with and explore her own rich cultural heritage, and make it accessible to others.
