Jahin Adiba is an undergraduate student majoring in English. She discovered her love for writing early on, binding paper books together in staples and eventually taking the stage performing her own spoken words. She is especially passionate about her faith and being a part of dawah/volunteer work, working to organize and lead monthly halaqahs for youth girls in her community. Her writing is inspired from her Islamic faith and cultural identity being Bengladeshi-American. Through her writing, she aims not only to express herself, but also be able to relate with others and benefit them with reminders and reflections. She has many dreams that she would like to accomplish, and being a part of MYM is a big step in the right direction.
