Shaheera Vakani holds a BA in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria and a diploma in the Arabic Language from Um Al Qura University in Makkah. As a hafidhah, she is a lifelong student of knowledge. She is devoted to developing programs that cater to the holistic well-being of Muslim children, youth and families. She finds joy in seeking new adventures and investing time in nature. She lives in Alberta, Canada with her husband and children.
